Social Media Strategy
A steady drumbeat, on brand, on schedule.
The fastest way to fail at social media is to be on every platform and mediocre on all of them. We would rather help you be genuinely good on two channels than spread thin across five. Which two depends on where your customers already spend time and what you can realistically keep up, because a channel you post to twice and abandon does more harm than not being there at all.
Picking channels by where your customers actually are
A B2B firm and a local restaurant do not belong on the same platforms, and neither should copy the other. We look at who you are trying to reach, where those people scroll, and what format suits what you do, whether that is short video, photos, written posts, or some mix. Then we weigh that against the time and budget you actually have. The recommendation is usually fewer channels than clients expect, done properly.
A content calendar and creative that looks like you
We plan posts ahead on a calendar so you are never staring at a blank box on a Monday morning. The creative uses your brand: your colors, your type, your voice, so a post is recognizably yours before anyone reads the handle. Planning ahead also lets us tie posts to your real calendar, launches, seasons, and events, instead of scrambling to react late.
Community management in your brand’s voice
Social is a conversation, not a broadcast. We reply to comments and DMs in your voice, handle the routine questions, and flag anything that needs you personally. This is the unglamorous part that most accounts neglect, and it is often where the actual relationships and referrals come from. Done consistently, it turns a follower who liked one post into someone who remembers you when they need what you sell. The accounts stay yours; you own them and keep full access throughout.
Organic and paid are two different levers
Organic builds an audience slowly and cheaply. Paid buys reach immediately but stops the moment you stop spending. They work together, but we keep them separate in planning and reporting so you always know what is earning attention and what is renting it. We will tell you honestly which one your goals actually call for, and we will not push paid spend just to pad a report.
What honest reporting looks like
We report on what matters, reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions where we can track them, and we say plainly what the numbers mean. Expect a few months before they tell a clear story; early data is noisy, and anyone promising overnight growth is selling something. We cannot control the platforms or their algorithms, and we never claim to. What we control is consistent, well-made work, and over time that is what moves the numbers.

Frequently asked questions
How long before social media actually moves the needle for my business?
Plan on three to six months before the numbers tell a clear story. The first month or two is setup and testing, figuring out which formats and topics your audience responds to. Real momentum, steady follower growth, and traffic or leads back to your site usually build after that as we double down on what works. Anyone promising viral results in two weeks is selling luck, not strategy.
Do you just schedule posts, or do you also reply to comments and messages?
Both, if you want community management included. Publishing on a calendar is the easy part. The harder and more valuable work is responding to comments, answering DMs, and handling the occasional complaint in a way that sounds like your brand and not a bot. We agree on response times and tone up front, and you can keep replies in-house while we handle content if that fits better.
How do you decide which platforms we should even be on?
We start with where your customers already spend time and what you can realistically sustain. A trades business and a boutique retailer belong in very different places, and being mediocre on five platforms loses to being genuinely good on two. We look at your audience, your goals, and how much content you can support, then recommend a focused set. It's better to own one or two channels than to spread thin across all of them.
Who owns the accounts and the content you create?
You do, fully. The profiles are registered under your business, and you keep admin ownership the entire time. Every graphic, caption, and piece of creative we produce is yours to keep if we ever part ways. We build on accounts you control rather than locking anything behind our own logins.
Is paid advertising part of this, or a separate cost?
Organic strategy and paid amplification are separate levers, and paid is optional. Our social work focuses on content and community first, since paid ads on a weak profile just spend money faster. When it makes sense to boost a strong post or run a targeted campaign, we scope that separately, and your ad spend goes straight to the platform, not to us. We're upfront about which results come from organic effort versus paid budget in the reporting.
