Free Website Audit: Speed, SEO & Local Score

See what a visitor and Google see in the first second. Free, no signup.

Your website gets about one second to make an impression, on a visitor and on Google. This free audit checks the things that quietly decide whether people stay and whether you rank: how fast your site responds, whether it works on a phone, whether search engines can actually read it, and whether it sends the local signals that win the map pack. No signup and no sales call. Enter your address and you get a score plus a plain-English list of what to fix.

Free. No signup. We check speed, mobile, schema, and local signals in seconds.

What this website audit checks

Every check runs live against your real page, not a stored guess.

  • Server response time. How quickly your site returns its HTML. Slow sites lose mobile visitors and rank worse, and this is the single biggest thing most local businesses get wrong.
  • Mobile-readiness. Whether a mobile viewport is set so the site adapts to phones, where the large majority of local searches happen.
  • Structured data (schema). Whether JSON-LD schema is present so Google can understand your business and feature you in rich results.
  • Title tag and meta description. The headline and snippet you control in search results, checked for presence and length.
  • Page heading and image alt text. A single clear H1 and alt text on images, which help both SEO and accessibility.
  • Local business signals. Click-to-call numbers and LocalBusiness schema that tell Google you serve a real place.

Why site speed is the check that pays for itself

Speed is not a nice-to-have. It is a ranking factor and a conversion factor at the same time. Every second of delay measurably drops how many visitors stay and how many turn into calls, and it quietly taxes every dollar you spend on ads by losing people before the page even finishes. Drag the slider below to feel the difference between a typical template site and one built for speed.

How the score works

Each check is graded good, needs-attention, or failing, then combined into a single score out of 100. Speed and HTTPS carry the most weight because they affect every visitor and every ranking. A strong score means the fundamentals are in place. A low score usually means there is fast, high-return work to do.

Got a low score?

We build fast, search-ready websites on North Sea Core, our own WordPress framework, so they load instantly, ship clean schema, and send the right local signals from day one. If your audit turned up problems, that is fixable, and it is often the highest-return marketing work a local business can do.
