North Sea Core is our answer to that. It is a native WordPress framework we built and maintain in-house, and every site we design and build runs on it.

We have shipped directories, membership platforms, and full SaaS products that way. WordPress is often the entry point; it is rarely the ceiling. What you own, and what we license
We will be straight about this, because a lot of agencies are not. Everything that is genuinely yours stays yours: your content, images, brand assets, domain, and all your data. The site is standard WordPress, so it can be moved to another host and handed to another developer if you ever need to. What we do not give away is North Sea Core itself. It is a licensed framework we have refined across many builds, so we license it to your site rather than release it to be copied or resold. You are licensing a proven engine, not renting your own content, and the custom design we create for your brand belongs to you.

We host platform sites on dedicated infrastructure and keep them running: security hardening, backups, monitoring, and careful updates, all in one plan. Because the site and the framework come from the same place, updates arrive together and do not surprise you with breakages. When something needs attention, one team owns whether your site is up, fast, and secure, instead of a finger-pointing match between a host, a theme vendor, and a plugin author. How does the platform keep Core Web Vitals green?
Green Core Web Vitals come from a lot of small decisions, not one trick. Core ships minimal JavaScript, loads fonts and images efficiently, reserves space to avoid layout shift, and skips the heavy page-builder scripts that drag most WordPress sites down. We test against real field data, not just lab scores, because Google ranks on what real users experience. The honest caveat is that adding huge unoptimized images or extra tracking scripts later can still hurt scores, so we give you guidance to protect the baseline.
What happens to my site if I stop working with NSS?
Your content, brand, and domain are always yours, and the site is standard WordPress, so it can move to another host and another developer can take it from there. What doesn't continue is our side of the arrangement. We host on dedicated infrastructure as part of your plan, so if the plan ends the site would need to move somewhere else to stay online, and North Sea Core is our licensed framework rather than something we hand over to be reused elsewhere. We'll export your content and give you clean access, since we're not in the business of holding sites hostage, but the engine we built and license stays ours. In practice most clients stay because bundled hosting, care, and platform updates are simpler and cheaper than reassembling everything with separate vendors.
Can the platform handle structured data and schema for SEO?
Yes, and it's built in rather than bolted on. The structured content model maps your pages to schema types like organization, service, article, FAQ, and local business, so search engines get clean, machine-readable context. This helps you qualify for rich results like FAQ snippets and star ratings, though Google decides when to show them. Because schema is tied to the content model, it stays accurate as you edit, instead of drifting out of date the way manual markup does.
